A List Of Great Artists! (Perpetually Updated)

This is a perpetually updated list of Artists I've discovered or became friends with over the years. So much talent goes completely unseen unless you magically stumble on the correct keyword, hashtag, or recommendation/repost. And unless you know their names, Googling doesn't help you locate them or randomly stumble upon their artwork. In conclusion, I took my favourites and friends in hopes they can be found easier. Spread this list, make your own, lets promote eachother and make sure people experience amazing artwork and personalities!

All while pumping out endless material himself including Blood Desert Comix and other one-shots. A big inspiration for this list even getting made. If you like Violence, Metal, and Innovation check out his channel and comix. You'll find something!

Paul Kortjohn Comix

UK Based Illustration Comix Maniac with works such as HARDCORE, Zander Chrome, WashedUp Mid Life Crisis Turtles, and his Artist Collaboration Zine Tales From The Toilet bringing a ton of talent in one place. His network has expanded outside the UK so you can avoid high shipping.

Okramapocalypse

Crude Drawings For Crude Violence. Tons of life come through these simple artworks of bloodthirsty gladiators destroying one another. Near constant posts of brand new designed heroes hacking and slashing right into your heart!

Scufflemöss Treemen & His Band Wüden Boi

A Forest Troll with many talents whether it be making & performing music or painting. His music and style is the fun that is missing in the world, its offbeat, weird, and just what you need.

Darksmores & His Band TeratomA

Deranged, Demented, and Dirty costume fabricator, tattoo artist, musician, and mask maker. His art revolves around the absurd, the violent, the weird, with a tinge of Metal & D&D.

Maegan LeMay

Tattoo Artist at Iron Hand Tattoo In Rhode Island doing some extremely dark art drenched in Black Metal and Fantasy. Been following for years, she just keeps improving. In Fucking Credible Art.

Virginia Orr (Orange Zeppelin)

Goblin Crazy maker of Zines, Comix, and Paintings.

Has two long running comix Gobliterated and Whoa Awesome Space Babe.

Onur Özcan (Ratatator)

Comix, Illustrations, and Linocut Block Printing of his gross, filthy, rat character and other deformed creations. Very cartoony very extreme very bloody. Fever Dream? Fever NIGHTMARE.

Twoise Chee

High contrast fantasy artworks you would kill to have in your RPG book. Impeccable attention to detail and depth. Pen & Ink. Even his sketches are impressive. A must follow!

Mystic Barbarism

The Grit of Medieval Woodblock Prints if they were done with Razor Blade Precision.

Dark Intense artworks that invoke Sauron, Elric, and overall Evil.

Pencils And Dungeons

A trip into darker RPG territory with influence from chaos gifts (horrendous deformities), undead, and severe heroes. A tinge of warhammer but fully his own style shining bright and true through the murky depths of his own creation. Classic style.

Blackletter Studios

Endlessly working on new content whether its their Multidimensional Travel Journal zine, Mausritter RPG compatible modules, or their own TTRPG with incredible page layouts. Currently in kahoots with voice actor Marco H Rodriguez for Self Help Skelly, which is exactly what it sounds like.

Fiendwomb

Dark Corroded Flashes of Deathly Aura.

The artworks remind me of ancient stains on a Death Shroud re-inked with black blood.

Alvaro Tapia Lagunas

Fantasy Artist from Sweden known for his illustrations for Harry Potter book covers and Riotminds' RPG Drakar Och Demoner (2009). High detail, whether colour or sepia, it brings you into another realm like any true RPG artwork should.

David Thiérrée

Fantasy Artwork at times rivals Brian Froud, first discovered him from Satanic Warmaster's "Fimbulwinter" cover artwork. Insane detail. Easy to get lost in his world and never come back.

Evan Dorkin

Comic Book Legend.

Milk & Cheese, Welcome To Eltingville, DORK, Beasts Of Burden and much more.

His hyper detailed comic book style doesn't look or feel like anyone else, loveable/hateable characters you always want to go back to, experiences you've gone through (Eltingville especially!!!) or a goofy Release Valve of Violence from Dairy Products, its all there. Even had a Pilot for Eltingville on Adult Swim in 2002. Dork is the Variety Show Gag Comics while Beasts of Burden is supernatural animal detectives madness. Something for Everyone.

Eric Orchard

I'm not sure how to even describe this style of artwork. It shows influence by Edward Gorey and then just trails off from there into Eric's own special blend of character design. Childish and inviting like faeries at play, yet coarse and foreboding like an old fairy tale. Shading technique is fantastic, everything feels so alive, so present.

Anthony Albertini

Beautiful Manga Style artist working on their own full on publication. Artwise it is for Fans of Berserk & Fist of the North Star linework and shading, medieval fantasy with magic elements. Until the first chapter is released you can watch their Speed Draws on youtube. Worth It!

Kutay Coşkun

Artist/Animator from Turkey, a fan of the off beat and weird, the 90s gross-out cartoons of our youth, and indie publications. The influences are apparent but each artwork or comic has a consistent style all his own. Lowbrow and Bizarre art to quench your thirst.

Corpse Carter

A style disjointed and disturbed, each stroke an act of violence or peace, its for you to decide. Touching on various subject matter from gargoyles, demons, buddhism, hinduism, and sometimes a violent black metal aesthetic. One of a kind.

Crafty Tibbles

This girl could crochet a dream into reality, her adorable creations sit on the desks of Sleazy P Martini (GWAR) and John Goblikon (Nekrogoblikon) during their talk shows. When not twisting and weaving she tattoos at Automatic Tattoo in Florida. For fans of all things fantasy.

Zombie Punk

As if the vibe of late 80s early 90s comix never died. Scratchy almost like a woodblock print or ink splash thrown from a knife forming intense punk rock cartoons. His skulls should be on every skateboard. Check out his punk band The Felonz (if ya can find it).

Cretin Face Design

Creating sick designs, album covers, logos and more. Distinct style mixing grit and cartoon he's done art for The Jasons, Murder Junkies, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Huntingtons, Children of October and much more. Even Wedding Advertisements if you're lucky enough.

Mark Riddick

Gruesome Skeletons Rotting For Your Pleasure. Since 1992 his forms of horror have graced demo & album covers. From Excrescent (Mark and his brother Mike's band) to his solo Fetid Zombie, or even Dethklok. Instantly recognizable, unforgettable, a pillar of extreme metal art style.

Map Crow

I love RPG maps, and making maps, this channel opened my mind up more than any other with his breakdowns on his own maps and ideas. Great art style, old school with a modern tinge, pulls no punches, leaps off the page. His way of looking at art goes beyond just creating a drawing, he gives it deeper meaning and purpose, especially his isometric overworld maps, incredible and practical! Usable!
